JOELENE BREWER Joelene Brewer (she/her) is a third year writing and psychology student at the University of Victoria, currently residing on the unceded traditional territories of the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples. She enjoys writing in all forms, but specifically explores poetry, short fiction, and personal essay. She has been published in Same Faces Collective and This Side of West and has performed written work at the 2019 charity event Let's Face It. Her work explores girlhood, family, mental health, grief, addiction, and sense of place.
